Just like everyone I too am feeling the crunch. Friends have been telling me how much this has affected thier lives. So with my mind in that gear I wrote a song and IT's FREE to all. Download it here it's called

I love great Country music and lately it has taken a different path. I met an incredible writer/composer named James B. Williamson who shares that same love except he's not a performer. He sent me a few of his songs and sparks flew.

We knew we had a great start to a great album. I had a few songs as well, so I began to produce the project.
This is a special 2 Song Radio pre-release from the up-coming 15 Song album entitled "Somethin' In Her Genes". It's a return to the best of what country music represents.

The new game for Wii from Planet Moon called "Battle Of The Bands"
is out. Most of the country, bluegrass and rockabilly was produced and sung by me here in my studio along with my partner Bren. We had a blast doing the music.
The reviews are pouring in and the game's music is being touted as some of the best ever!! Look it up on Google or Planet Moons website.

In the next 2 weeks another new CD will be here. Here's the inside story / scoop...
A really cool car show was being held in April and I was retained to appear there on the main stage.
It started me thinking about the music that would be played during the event:
The Beach Boys, Jan & Dean, The Ventures, and how great their contribution to the music world has been. Ahhh...those great Car & Beach songs. Timeless material with a sound and feeling that remains with you forever. Deeply embedded in our memories and as American as it gets.
As I pondered this, it occurred to me that nobody has written anything new like it in what.. 30 years? I grew up on the Beaches of Southern California cruising the streets, listening to this music on my transistor radio, catching rays and watching the beautiful girls. I knew the formula for the music and decided it was way over due for a return.
So I wrote "Hot Rods & Summer" and played it for everyone I ran into. THEY LOVED IT! I decided to do an EP - wrote 5 more songs and "Throw it in Reverse" was born.
6 Songs you're gonna love! It's a shift back in time, but with all new, original material. At last... something new for us car and beach song lovers.

For years my daughter has been telling me that I should record a family/children's album. She remembers all the songs I sang to her when she was small and how much joy it brought to her and her brother. She relates me to the "Pied Piper" when I sing to children. They seem to be drawn to my music and are mesmerized as I entertain them and their parents.

I was in the process of releasing my last album, "Legacy", when she said, "Dad, when are you going to record that family album?" I told her I don't have enough ideas for an album and she replied, "But I do!" Being a kindergarten teacher with a vivid imagination has allowed her to see things "Through A Child's Eyes". So I told her to "send me some concept lyrics and we'll take it from there."

While I was nearing completion of "Legacy", she emailed me her first idea which then became, "The Magic Room". I was blown away. My daughter has my gift for writing lyrics. I quickly produced "The Magic Room" and included it, as a bonus track, on my album "Legacy". The response was overwhelming!

So, my daughter started sending me more concept lyrics. Once I received them, I would rearrange, write new or change words so they would fit melodically.
I then wrote the music, did the arrangements and "Voila!" "Through A Child's Eyes" was born.

In a world that seems to need a "hug", this album is a return to a simpler place and time. The music connects with parents, grandparents and children alike.

The NEW Family/Americana/Folk/
Children's Album, "Through A Child's Eyes" is nearing completion. It will be available on CD Baby and iTunes real soon. As of this date the art work is being put together and the new CD will be available as a download before the physical CD arrives.

Planet Moon games is releasing for Nintendo Wii platform, "Battle Of The Bands", originally called Hong's Mashup in April '08.
A lot of the music for the game was created in my Studio here in Texas.
My division created the Bluegrass / Country & Rockabilly versions of the songs. Myself and Bren, my music partner, had great fun creating 30 songs in a genre unlike the originals. The other teams created Hip Hop / Marching Band and Rock Versions, etc. All are totally sync'd so that whomever is winning the game gets to hear the version they selected. Some really hot tracks came out that should make the game a blast!!

Larry is presently working on a Nintendo Wii game music for a upcoming new game to be released in 2008. The music is being produced in Larry's studio and can be heard soon in the game and here.
